The Northwoods League baseball team on Wednesday announced it has re-signed pitchers Zak Miller and Brad Delatte.

And if manager Mike Steed's Twitter account can be believed, two more players from the 2010 squad will be back in the Bay this summer.

Steed tweeted two weeks ago that catcher Will Thorp and 1B Ty Wosleger have also agreed to return and announced the signing of SS Jake McWilliam from the University of Hawaii, 2B T.J. Bennett and pitcher Alec Smith, both hailing from Oral Roberts University.

The second-year manager also said there will be a total of four Canadians on the roster next summer.

Smith was 0-2 with a 14.29 ERA in 5.2 innings for the Golden Eagles last season. Bennett is a freshman from Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Ariz. McWilliam, who will play alongside former Cat P.K. Kitamura as a rookie this season with the University of Hawaii, hit .429 in his senior year at Arcadia High School in Phoenix.

Miller tied for second in the league last summer with seven wins, against just two losses, posting a 3.64 ERA in the process.

The White Rock, B.C. native also struck out 30 batters in 52 innings, and is presently a freshman at Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz., with a commitment to attend Arizona State University next fall.

Delatte, who worked exclusively out of the bullpen last season, had a 1-1 record with an impressive 2.43 ERA for the Cats.

The St. Amant, La. native., is a junior at Nicholls University in Thibodaux, La.

Wosleger hit .241 with one homer un and 18 RBI for the Cats last year. Thorp went .243 with 10 RBI.
