After opening with four straight wins at Subway Field, the Northwoods League squad dropped its third straight at home Tuesday night, falling 11-8 to the visiting St. Cloud Rox.

The Rox turned a 4-4 game into a blowout in a hurry and held on for the win as the Cats scored twice in the eighth and twice in the ninth to close the gap.

Tyler Duplantis, Dylan Goodwin and Alex Bautista homered for Thunder Bay, their first three-homer game of the season.

Reliever John Hayes, who took over from starter Caleb Smith to start the sixth, took the loss, giving up five runs in 1.1 innings of work.
Jason Vosler was 4-for-5 with two runs scored for the Cats, who made three fielding errors on the night.

Chris Paul homered to lead off the game for St. Cloud. Adam Martin also had a pair of RBI for the Rox.
