The Thunder Bay Border Cats have inked three more players, including a pair of right-haders, to their 2014 roster.

Pitchers Nathan Aultman and Reid Peavy will join the Cats' staff. Both are teammates at Louisiana's Northwestern State.

Aultman has a 5.40 ERA in three relief appearances with the Demons, while Peavy, a Texarkana, Ark. native has yet to see any game action. Peavy had a 5.04 ERA with 44 strikeouts in 60.2 innings pitched in his sophomore season at Bossier Parish Community College.

Outfielder Tyler Rolland, a junior at Southern Illinois University, is the fourth player inked by the Cats, who open the 2014 season at home on May 27 against the St. Cloud Rox.

Rolland has a .258 average with two doubles and 11 RBI, but has shown a propensity to get on base, drawing 21 walks.

The team had initially announced the signing of top prospect Nick Heath, a speedy outfielder at Northwestern State University, but had to retract the signing when manager Johnny Hernandez was informed Heath had to undergo Tommy John surgery and will miss the rest of the season.
