ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Thunder Bay Border Cats put up one run in the first inning, and then nursed that lead the rest of the way home for their second victory of the campaign.

The Border Cats scored a 1-0 road victory over the Rochester Honkers at Mayo Field on Wednesday night.

Thunder Bay put the game's only run on the board courtesy of an RBI sacrifice fly from designated hitter Peter Fusek, which scored lead-off batter Lucas Terili.

Border Cats starter Peyton Fosher pitched into the sixth, keeping Rochester scoreless. Reliever Kannon Carr came on and recorded the final eight outs while only allowing two hits to pick up the save.

Thunder Bay (2-1) continues their road trip with a rematch against the Honkers (2-1) on Thursday.
