Bucks hand Cats first home defeat of 2013

Tyler Peyton and Chesney Young scored 10th inning runs Sunday, helping the Waterloo Bucks hand the Thunder Border Cats their first home loss of the season. Kreg Snook was victimized for both runs, taking the loss in the 6-4 defeat.

Dylan Becker, Jason Vosler and Alex Bautista, who went 3-for-5, each drove in a run for the Cats, who slipped to 6-6.

The Border Cats tied it with two in the ninth, Tyler Stetson coming home on a balk by Waterloo pitcher J.D. Moore, who picked up the win, to make it 4-3. Vosler tied it with a double that plated Cory Kay.

Just 556 fans showed up at Subway Field. The Cats are second last in the Northwoods League in attendance.
