The Cats came back in a big way to snap a four-game losing streak Thursday night.

The Cats came back in a big way to snap a four-game losing streak Thursday night.

On the road in Wisconsin and down 2-1 in the top of the seventh the Thunder Bay Border Cats left the batter's box with five runs, enough to top the Eau Claire Express 6-2 and give Thunder Bay's own Luke Scocchia his first win of the season.

With two on and one out Ty Blankmeyer's bases-clearing double got the ball rolling for Thunder Bay. He then scored on a Tyler Rolland single. Nick Studer, now hitting .400 on the season, would plate Rolland with a double of his own before coming home on a single from Cory Kay.

Scocchia threw three-and-a-third giving up one hit, one walk and striking out three. Eau Claire's Ryan Boelter took the loss.

Thunder Bay (3-7) heads to St. Cloud to face the Rox (6-3) Friday night.
