The Thunder Bay Chill are headed back to the playoffs.

The Thunder Bay Chill are headed back to the playoffs.

The Chill secured a seventh-straight trip to the postseason on Tuesday night, scoring a 3-0 win over the host Kansas City Brass to clinch the berth, one of two available in the Premier Development League’s Heartland Division.

Pedro Adan, Adam Augruso and Gavin Hoy each scored for the Chill, who improved to 11-1-0 and need just one win in their remaining two games to assure themselves the top record in the Central Conference.

The Chill’s next home game is scheduled for July 19 at Tbaytel Field at Chapples Park against WSA Winnipeg, a team they swept on the road at the start of the season.
