Soggy conditions at Tbaytel Field at Chapples Park have abated enough to allow the Thunder Bay Chill to return to their home turf.

The Premier Development League soccer club was considering a second straight weekend at Fort William Stadium, where they won their home opener last Saturday against the Des Moines Menace. Instead they’ll take on the St. Louis Lions on the natural grass at Chapples.

In a release issued Thursday, Chill officials said they’re hoping rookie striker Sunny Omoregie will be back in the lineup. Defender Zetroy Robertson (lower body) is also expected back to face the Lions. Striker Sullivan Silva remains on the sidelines.

Kick-off Friday and Saturday night is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
