The St. Louis Lions did Sunday what no other team in the Premier Development League has been able to all season long – beat the Thunder Bay Chill.

The St. Louis Lions did Sunday what no other team in the Premier Development League has been able to all season long – beat the Thunder Bay Chill.

The Chill, playing shorthanded after a fight broke out on the field, managed to tie the game on a Pedro Adan goal late in the second half, but the Lions booted one home in the dying seconds of the match to earn the 3-2 win.

Abraham Villon was tossed after the on-field altercation, leaving the Chill down a man the rest of the way.

Striker Sunny Omogerie had the Chill’s other goal early in the first.

The teams were tied 1-1 at the half.

The Chill, still in control of their own destiny, fell to 10-1-1, while St. Louis improved to 3-6-1.

Thunder Bay concludes its three-game road trip on Tuesday in Kansas City.
