Chill make easy work of Demize

The Thunder Bay Chill kicked off their six-game road trip in winning fashion Saturday night, blanking the Springfield Demize 4-0.

Sergio Villalva, Pedro Pereira, Brandon Swartzendruber and Luis Gonzalez were the goal scorers for the Chill (6-1-0) who remain nine points behind second-place Des Moines, but with five games in hand.  It was Thunder Bay’s third straight win over Springfield this season.

Stephen Paterson and Nick Ciliberti, who took over in the 83rd minute, shared the shutout for the Chill, who will travel to St. Louis for a Sunday matchup against the Lions.
