The Thunder Bay Chill will face their new divisional and provincial rival to open up their 11th Premider Development League season.

The Chill will kick off the 2011 campaign on the road against the expansion WSA Winnipeg on May 28 at the Winnipeg Soccer Complex.

Thunder Bay, who lost last year’s PDL final to Portland, will take a week off before hosting their home opener on June 10 against Des Moines, the start of a four-game homestand that will see the Springfield Demize arrive in town the following weekend.

The Chill will then embark on their annual six-game road trip throughout the American Midwest, making stops in Springfield, St. Louis, Colorado and Des Moines.

The team finished the campaign with another four-game home-stand, starting on Wednesday, July 13 against Winnipeg. Colorado will close out the 2011 regular season with games at Chapples Park on July 22 and 23.
