The Michigan Bucks may have swept four of the five Premier Development League’s regular season awards, but Thunder Bay Chill forward Sullivan Silva captured the biggest one of all.

The Michigan Bucks may have swept four of the five Premier Development League’s regular season awards, but Thunder Bay Chill forward Sullivan Silva captured the biggest one of all.

Silva on Saturday captured league MVP honours, following a season that saw him tie for the league lead in goals and lead the PDL in scoring with 32 points.

Chill coach Tony Colistro, up for coach of the year, was beaten out by Michigan’s Gary Parsons. Colistro led the Chill to a 13-2-1 record, one point less than Parson earned for the Bucks.

Rookie of the year went to Michigan’s Adam Grinwis, who also grabbed goalkeeper of the year honours. Teammate Kevin Cope was named defender of the year.
