Churchill blows past Westgate

The Trojans, who also got 13 points from Sue Templeman, improved to 6-2, while the Tigers, led by Crystal Lukinuk’s 11, fell back to .500 at 4-4.

It was a different story for the Tigers (4-4) in junior girls play. Emily Debruin and Kim MacNiven each scored 10 points as Westgate edged Churchill 34-31.

Julia Lovis had a game-high 14 for the Trojans (2-6).

In junior boys volleyball, La Verendrye swept Superior Collegiate 3-0. The all-French school took out Superior 2-1 in the senior circuit, which also saw St. Patrick blank Dennis Franklin Cromarty 3-0.
