Currie win sets up all-Thunder Bay Northern Ontario final

Skip Jeff Currie, whose team includes lead Jamie Childs, second Colin Koivula and third Mike McCarville, scored a 5-4 semifinal win Sunday over Sudbury’s Mike Jakubo to earn a berth in the afternoon final. Currie will take on fellow Thunder Bay skip Brian Adams Jr., who earned an automatic spot in the championship game with a 6-1 record in round-robin play.

Adams Jr.’s team includes lead Joel Adams, second Jordan Potts and third Brennan Wark.
