Dietrich named SIJHL MVP

Mike Dietrich made Minnesota Wilderness history on Monday. The high-scoring forward was named the Superior International Junior Hockey League’s most valuable player, after collecting 28 goals and 49 assists in just 46 games.

The high-scoring forward was named the Superior International Junior Hockey League’s most valuable player, after collecting 28 goals and 49 assists in just 46 games.

Dietrich was the SIJHL’s fifth-leading scorer and tied for top spot in assists. He topped all scorers with six game-winning goals and paced all players with a 1.67 point-per-game average.
