Donley, the Thunder Bay Border Cats designated hitter hit his sixth homerun of the season, scored fur times and drove in two on three hits, leading his team back to .500 with a lopsided 15-1 win over the host Waterloo Bucks.

Not to be outdone, Landecker set a club record, going a perfect 6-for-6 at the dish, with three runs and five driven in.

The win was the Cats (4-4) third straight and pulled them back into contention in the Northwoods League’s North Division race.

James Buckelew lasted seven innings, giving up five hits and a lone run to pick up the win, his first in a Border Cats uniform.

Bucks starter Jordan Foley was chased after the first inning, surrendering four runs, the first of six Waterloo pitchers to take the mound.
