Lindsay Druery was the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Saturday night.

The Smithville, Ont. native had a career-best 33 points – just two shy of Tasia McKenna’s team record set last month, and a whopping  22 rebounds, powering the Wolves to an easy 76-59 triumph over winless Waterloo on the road Saturday night.

Dreury was 15-for-20 from the floor and 3-for-4 from the line as third-place Lakehead worked the ball inside, improving to 12-6 with the weekend sweep.

Tasia McKenna had 14 for LU, pulling to within 45 points of Kathy Harrison’s all-time Thunderwolves scoring record.

Saraya Hickey had 13 to pace the Warriors (0-18).
