Superior Collegiate’s Blue squad made easy work of La Verendrye on Monday, in one of three curling matches on the high school sports schedule.

The Gryphons evened their record at 1-1, downing their opponent 6-1. In the only other boys game, St. Ignatius defeated Dennis Franklin Cromarty 1-0 by default.

In girls play, St. Ignatius stomped Churchill (Maroon) 9-0 in the opening game of the season for both squads.
