Falcons, Gryphons rinks win easily

The St. Ignatius Falcons left no doubt on Monday who was the better curling team. The Falcons hammered the Hammarskjold Vikings 15-0 in one of two senior high school boys matches, improving to 2-0. The Vikings fell to 0-2-1 with the loss.

In the other match Superior Collegiate thoroughly dominated the St. Patrick Fighting Saints, dropping them 11-1, earning the Gryphons a win in their season debut. The Saints dropped to 0-2.

In girls curling, St. Ignatius improved to 3-0-0 with a 10-2 win over the Vikings.

The Falcons kept up their winning ways over on the volleyball court, clawing back to .500 with a straight-set win over Dennis Franklin Cromarty.

St. Ignatius won their matches 25-18, 25-13 and 25-12.
