It's on to round three at the provincials for the St. Ignatius Falcons senior girls basketball team.

Karissa Kajorinne netted 14 points on Thursday to pace the Falcons to a 36-35 squeaker win over the Guelph's Bishop McDonnell Celtics in their 2011 OFSSA 'AA' Senior Girls Basketball tournament debut, being played in Brockville.

St. Ignatius, which has posted a 19-1 record to date this season, face a must-win situation on Friday against Oakville's St. Thomas Aquinas. They got a bye in the second round.

A loss and they're out of the running, while a win sends them to the fourth round against a team to be determined. Maggie Murphy had eight points and Katelyn Andrea posted six for the victors. Andrea Priamo led the Celtics with 12 points.
