Fors scores trio of touchdowns in Falcons triumph

Liam Fors found the end zone three times, including a 108-yard punt return in the third quarter, leading the Falcons to a convincing 34-0 win over the winless Churchill Trojans (0-3).

Fors, who ran for 125 yards, also kicked three extra points in the lopsided contest.

Kyle Hughes, who took one in from 16 yards out, and Preston Esquega, who scampered home from 39 yards out, also scored for the Falcons (3-0).

Not to be outdone, the Westgate Tigers (3-0) also remained unbeaten, waltzing past the Hammarskjold Vikings 29-7.
Cody Sheedy rushed for 124 yards and four scores for the Tigers (3-0). Keenan Postans fired a 54-yard bomb to Brayden Halvorsen for the Vikings (1-2) lone tally of the day.

In the only other game of the day, Drew Meady added another pair of touchdowns to his total, rushing for 115 yards in St. Patrick’s 38-0 whitewashing of the winless Superior Collegiate Gryphons (0-3). Anna MacLean kicked five extra points and added a second quarter field goal for the Saints (2-1), who got rushing majors from Liam Coulter, Jake McKee, Joey Ward and Dalton Demereh.
