Fort Frances 10th in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont.

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Winners of four consecutive games, the Fort Frances Lakers of the Superior International Junior Hockey League have made another move up in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League Pointstreak Top 20 weekly rankings announced Monday

The Lakers were tabbed 10th overall in the 129-team CJHL in the listings, which are compiled in conjunction with International Scouting Services.

Fort Frances currently tops the SIJHL standings with a 14-5-0-1 record with their 29 points putting them four ahead of second place Thunder Bay and nine clear of third place Dryden.

The 2015 RBC Cup host Portage Terriers (MJHL) have moved back into the No. 1 ranking in the CJHL.

Rounding out the top three are the Carleton Place Canadian (CCHL) and Penticton Vees (BCHL).
