Fort Frances forward Nolan named SIJHL's most sportsmanlike

Geraldton’s Jacob Nolan is the Superior International Junior Hockey League’s most sportsmanlike player for 2012-13.

Nolan, 20, who plays for the Fort Frances Lakers, nudged out Dryden’s Tyson Holder and Minnesota Wilderness forward Joseph Drapuk for the award.

In 48 games Nolan was assessed just eight penalty minutes, while scoring 12 goals and adding 26 assists.

Sioux Lookout’s Dane Morin captured the award a year ago.
