Fort Frances moves to 4th in CJHL rankings

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced its latest edition of the Pointstreak Top 20 rankings Monday and the hottest team in the Superior International Junior Hockey League continues to move up the listings.

The Fort Frances Lakers have jumped to fourth overall in the 131-team CJHL in the weekly rankings, which are compiled in conjunction with International Scouting Services.

Fort Frances has reeled off nine consecutive victories improving to 16-2-0 overall giving them a seven-point cushion over the second place Dryden GM Ice Dogs (11-4-1-2) in the SIJHL standings.

Winners of 22 straight games, the Penticton Vees (BCHL) remain the No. 1 team in the CJHL with the Portage Terriers (MJHL) and Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL) rounding out the top three in second and third respectively.
