Jordan Larson and Alex Bruess scored third period goals less than five minutes apart Thursday night, propelling the host Lakers to a 2-1, Game 4 win over the Wisconsin Wilderness. Fort Frances now leads the best-of-seven Superior International Junior Hockey League Bill Salonen Cup final 3-1.

Jeremy Johnson scored the lone goal for the Wilderness, a second period marker that came at the 13:41 mark.

The teams combined to go 0-10 on the power play. Tyler Ampe stopped 28 saves to earn the victory. Tanner Milliron stopped 24 of 26 shots directed his way.

Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday at Spooner, Wisc. Game 6, if necessary is Monday at Fort Frances.
