Fullum hat trick power Stars to season-ending win

Michael Orosey, Kyle Lapenskie, Joshua Blacksmith, Matt Kaarela, Travis Tilley and Brandon Wolframe also scored for the visiting Stars in the 11-2 decision.

Dane Morin had two goals for the Flyers (25-29-2), who finished the regular season in fifth place in the Superior International Junior Hockey League standings.

Blacksmith added three helpers, while Wolframe had a pair for a three-point outing for the Stars (31-19-6).

Anthony Wolfe picked up an assist to finish with 84 points, one shy of SIJHL MVP Byron Katapaytuk of Fort Frances, who captured the scoring title.

Teammate Chris Hoffman failed in his bid for 50 goals, failing to score and finished with 48, tops in the league.

In the only other action Sunday, Cody Stettin had two goals and an assists as Duluth (20-33-3)wrapped up its second second season with a 7-2 win over the Dryden Ice Dogs (25-24-7).
