Thunder Bay’s Tiana Guadry will take on Blind River's Hayley Horton Sunday morning in the semifinal of the Northern Ontario Bantam Girl’s Curling Championship in Thessalon.
Gaudry wrapped up round-robin play with a pair of wins on Saturday, downing Jessica Leonard 8-5 in the morning draw and Cassidy Romyn 7-4 in the afternoon. She finished in second place, with a 5-2 record.
The winner between Gaudry and Horton will have the unenviable task of trying to take down Sudbury’s Kira Brunton (7-0), outscoring her opponents 68-22. However she needed steals in the eighth and ninth ends to get past Horton 9-8 on Saturday.
