Thunder Bay’s Matt Murray has been named an Ontario Hockey League second-team all-star.

The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds goalie was one of 18 players getting all-star nods on Wednesday. He was joined on the second team by consensus 2015 top prospect Connor McDavid of the Erie Otters.

Murray, a 2012 draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins, finished with 57 points in goaltender voting conducted by OHL general managers, 10 fewer than Pymouth’s Alex Nedelijovic, who earned the first-team all-star berth.

Murray, who turns 20 next Sunday, finished the season with a 2.57 goals against average and a .921 save percentage, and compiled a 32-11-5 record for the Greyhounds in his final season of junior.
