THUNDER BAY -- Giant Gymnastics’ competitive team attended the Twisted Moose Invitational this past weekend and faired very well. The competition was a true Northern affair, with themes such as plaid wear, moose calls, and a lumberjack beard contest. On top of all the fun themes was a great invitational, hosting over 25 clubs from all over the USA and Canada.
Giant performed well, taking home two second place team awards in the Level 6 and Xcel Gold categories, beating out two of Minnesota’s best-known gymnastics clubs. Individually, Giant had 27 top three finishes, proving the season has been increasingly successful. For some that was the last meet of the season, and they definitely went out with a bang! Others have one more competition, where they will conquer regional talent at the Burlington Spring Cup in Ontario. Watch for more success when they compete in May, where they will be striving for some spring success!
