Seven are up for the Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s hockey team.

Adam Sergerie netted a pair, his third and fourth of the season, as the Wolves regained a share of top spot in the OUA West, down the Laurier Golden Hawks 3-1 on the road.

Ryan McDonald, returning to the lineup after a lengthy absence on the sidelines with an injured leg, scored what proved to be the winner on the power play in the second.

The Wolves (7-2-0), caught Western, who lost 4-3 in overtime to Windsor.

Alex Dupuis made 15 saves for Lakehead, who take on the Golden Hawks again on Saturday.

Matt Caria had a pair of assists and now has a four-point lead in the OUA scoring race, with six goals and 12 assists.
