Alex Greer drove in three for the victorious Rochester Honkers, doubling home a run in the first and two more in a four-run fifth that pushed his team to the 7-3 win.

Clint Knoblauch allowed five earned runs in five innings of work to take the loss for the Border Cats, who slipped to 8-13 on the season.

Returning veteran Philip Lyons was 2-for-4 with a run scored hitting out of the lead-off spot in his 2013 debut for Thunder Bay. Tyler Duplantis, had the lone RBI for the Cats, who held a 2-1 lead after four at Subway Field.

Rochester and Thunder Bay conclude their two-game series Wednesday night.
