A three-goal second and fourth straight tallies overall handed the Dryden Ice Dogs a 4-3 win Friday night over the Thunder Bay North Stars.

A three-goal second and fourth straight tallies overall handed the Dryden Ice Dogs a 4-3 win Friday night over the Thunder Bay North Stars.

Joel Warkentin, Zachary Kercz and Dane Feeney scored 1:02 apart in the second period to sink the Stars, coming off a shootout win over the No. 2 Fort Frances Lakers.

Tyson Holder scored the Ice Dogs lone goal in the first, a power play market at 12:44.

Kris Kellaway, Trevor Hynnes and Tim Cavar had staked the North Stars (12-3-3) to a 3-0 lead, scoring in a 9:22 span of the opening period.
Dryden returned to .500 at 12-12-1.
