RMC found it’s rhythm in the fourth quarter Friday night.
Unfortunately by that time they were starting up at a sizable 41-point Lakhead lead, too big of a gap to contend with that deep into the game.
They’d go on to lose the OUA men’s basketball game by a 75-41 count.
Lakehead, who won for the fourth straight game, were powered by Joseph Jones, whose 10 tied Matthew Schmidt and Jamie Searle for tops on the Wolves. Jones added a dozen rebounds and six assists, playing just 17 minutes against his Kingston, Ont.-based opponent.
Gavin Viray-Cox topped the Paladins with 10 points.
Lakehead will take on Queen’s on Saturday at the Thunderdome.
