Keating Jr., Scharf capture Better Ball title

Walter Keating Jr. and Joe Scharf are this year’s Mallon’s Play it Again Sports Better Ball champions.

The duo, playing together in the tournament for the first time, fired a two-day, 18-under 125 total to score an eight-shot win over runners up Jeff Hunter and Jeremy Kirk.

Mike vale and Ryan Pietilla and Brett Shewchuk and Frank Conci tied for third, at 134.
