Lakehead's Williams to play in OUA all-star game

THUNDER BAY -- Lakehead’s Jylisa Williams will get to test her skills against the best the OUA women’s basketball has to offer.

The Atlanta native has been selected to the OUA West roster for the seventh annual OUA all-star game, scheduled for May 3 at Alumni Hall, home of the Western Mustangs.

Williams, a first-team all-star during the regular season, finished second in the league with a 20.2 average, joining the Thunderwolves in the second half.

She was runner-up in rebounding to McMaster’s Hailey Milligan, averaging 10.8 boards a night.
