THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced Tuesday that Fort Frances Lakers captain Dylan Robertson has been named the Gongshow Gear Inc. performer of the month for February.
In 10 games last month the 20-year-old native of Atlanta, Ga., had points in each of them amassing 21 in total on seven goals and 14 assists helping Fort Frances post an impressive 8-1-0-1 record during that span.
Seven of those outings were multi-point affairs for Robertson.
The veteran forward is currently riding a 15-game point streak and also has assists in eight straight outings,
Robertson leads all SIJHL skaters in offensive production with 70 points in 44 games on 28 markers and a league-best 42 helpers.
For his efforts, he will receive a gift card courtesy of Gongshow Gear, the official lifestyle hockey apparel of the SIJHL.
Also earning consideration for the SIJHL’s Gongshow Gear performer of the month award was Matt Houston, (F) Dryden GM Ice Dogs; Joe Newhouse, (D) Thunder Bay North Stars; Keaton Huot (F) Minnesota Iron Rangers and Konnar Dechaine, (F) English River Miners.
