Sophomore Alastair Brown, of Winnipeg, has been running well and should be competitive at the 1,500 metre distance while Travis Roske, of Regina, is coming of his second personal best in the 1,000 metre of the year last weekend at Winnipeg and is looking strong heading into the Duluth event.
On the women’s side, sophomore sprinter Vanessa Ivec (Thunder Bay) ran a 300 metre PB last weekend as did Tess Naroski (Thunder Bay) in the 1,500 metre and Lisa Alaimo (Hamilton, Ontario) in the 3000m.
