The Lakehead Thunderwolves forward slammed home 27 points and collected 17 rebounds to lead the Wolves to a 73-65 road win over the Algoma Thunderbirds.
Guards Henry Tan and Alex Robichaud also had hot hands for the Wolves, scoring 13 points apiece in the team’s first post-Christmas OUA regular-season appearance.
Nathan Riley had 17 off the bench, while starter Andre Barber collected 13 for the Thunderbirds.
Lakehead hosts McMaster for a pair next weekend in Thunder Bay.
The win helped Lakehead keep pace with Guelph in a tie for third. Both teams are 4-5.
