In the battle for first place Friday night, the McMaster Marauders came out victorious.
Taylor Black scored 17 points and Rohan Boney added 13 to lead the home side to a decisive 85-66 win over the Lakehead Thunderwolves (2-1).
The Marauders (3-0) outscored the Wolves in all four quarters, leading by two after one and seven at the half.
Bacarius Dinkins led the way with 14 points for Lakehad, Mor Menashe had 13, while Dwayne Harvey contributed 11.
Lakehead made just one of 25 three-point shots attempted and shot just 31.3 per cent from the floor.
The two teams will tip off again on Saturday night.
