Krista McCarville is moving on to the page playoffs at the Canada Cup of Curling, but not on a high note.
McCarville gave up a steal of three in the ninth on Friday night to drop a 10-7 decision to Heather Nedohin, finishing round-robin play at 3-2.
The loss means McCarville will take on Stefanie Lawton in Saturday’s 3-4 Page Playoff, with the loser moving on to the semifinals.
McCarville had opened a 4-2 lead after five, but gave up a steal of two in the seventh to take her first lead of the match. McCarville responded with three of her own in the eighth, but Nedohin secured a pair in the ninth to even the score at 7-7.
