The Thunder Bay foursome, which features former fifth Sarah Lang in the lead position, Kari McLean at second and Ashley Miharija at third, were up 5-3 after seven, but Holland stormed back with one in the eighth and two in the tenth to tie the score.

Other opening draw winners include Shannon Kleibrink, Stefanie Lawton, Jennifer Jones and Olympic silver medallist Cheryl Bernard.

McCarville and Bernard top the Pool B standings, but not for long. The two teams will square off at 6:30 p.m.
