Tasia McKenna had a monster night for the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Friday night.
The fifth-year guard scored 35 points, including six three-pointers, to lead the Wolves to a 71-66 come-from-behind win on the road against the McMaster Marauders.
McKenna was the lone Lakehead player to hit double digits, with Lacey McNulty and Sarah Gordon tying for second best for the Wolves (9-4) with eight points apiece.
Jaklynn Nimec had 17 for the Marauders (3-9), who took a four-point lead into the fourth quarter.
The Wolves can clinch a playoff berth with a win in Saturday’s rematch.
