Mershon wins it for Duluth in SO

Keith Tomassoni gave the Clydesdales (7-12-0) the early lead on the power play, beating Marc Nother at 14:10 of the first for the only goal of the opening period.

The North Stars (8-5-4) roared back in the second, with Kyle Lapenskie netting his first of two on the night to tie the score 85 seconds into the middle stanz and Travis Tilley putting Thunder Bay up 2-1 30 seconds later.

Jordan Fontaine knotted the game at two before the period ended and the two teams traded goals in the third, Cody Stettin scoring on a penalty shot at 8:27 and Lapenskie sending it to overtime with 1:29 to play.
