The Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA) is pleased to announce that Andrea Ronnebeck of Kenora has been hired as the organization’s new Technical Coordinator.
In this role Ronnebeck will be responsible for coordinating the technical development of athletes and coaches through courses and training camps, as well as the general promotion of curling in Northern Ontario.
“I am thrilled to be working with the Northern Ontario Curling Association. I have always lived and curled in this part of the province and I look forward to continuing the development of athletes, coaches and learning facilitators so that curling is accessible to all.”
Andrea brings a vast amount of experience to this position having been involved as an instructor and coach for over 35 years, and as a Team Leader for Canadian teams travelling to World Curling Championships.
Andrea is an NCCP Certified Level IV coach and Master Learning Facilitator who been involved in curling development at many Youth and High Performance Training Camps as well as recently playing a very active role in the redesign and rewriting of the National Coach Courses to competency based programming.

The Northern Ontario Curling Association is the governing body for curling with clubs in communities stretching from Mattawa in the northeast across Highway 17 to Keewatin, and north across Highway 11. NOCA is responsible for the promotion and development of curling for both recreational and competitive curling across all of Northern Ontario
