The Thunder Bay North Stars freefall continues.

The Stars lost for the sixth time in seven games on Friday night, dropping a 4-2 decision at the hands of the host Wisconsin Wilderness.

And they got beat by one of their own. Thunder Bay native Austin Adduono scored twice and added an assist to pace the Wilderness attack.

Quinn Remple, who had a goal and an assist in the third period, and Mitch Forbes score the North Stars goals.

Thunder Bay dropped to 10-6-1 with the loss, leaving them two points behind Wisconsin and Fort Frances, who held off a late-charging Duluth Clydesdale squad and rode a pair of Tyler Stevenson goals to a 5-4 win Friday night.

In other Superior International Junior Hockey League play, Dryden doubled Sioux Lookout 4-2.
