Defensive lineman Frank Pankewich will be one of three Thunder Bay facea at the annual East-West Bowl on London next month.

The Hammarskjold High School graduate, who is entering his third season with the Queen’s Golden Gaels, tied for seventh in the nation with six sacks. Pankewich had 38 tackles, 18 assists and one fumble recovery for the Golden Gaels.

Pankewich will play for the East side, players from the Atlantic and Quebec conferences, as well as Ontario’s Queen’s, Ottawa and Toronto.

Defensive linemen Seamus Postuma (Windsor) and Adam Hindley (Manitoba) will compete for Team West.

Postuma, a Westgate graduate, had 29 tackles and 10 assists to go with 3.5 sacks, while Hindley had two sacks and 30.5 tackles with the Bisons.

The week-long event also includes a free agent camp on May 4. The East team won last year’s game 12-9, but trails the all-time series with just two wins in eight attempts.
