Three of the five Thunder Bay Queens representative hockey teams will be out of town this weekend competing in two separate tournaments.
The Sportop midget AA squad will be in Blaine, Minn., taking part in the Bauer Invitational event while both the Winning Streak Charters bantam AA and Triad Roofing peewees are heading to Southwestern Ontario to compete in the fourth annual Hocktoberfest tourney in Windsor.
Game action for the Sportop midget AA side begins Friday as they meet Minnesota’s Upper Midwest Elite White at 6 p.m. CST.
