The Sportop midget AA Queens scored a trio of second period goals to blank the Chicago Fury 3-0 on Saturday morning to up their record to 2-0-1 at the Tier 1- 2 Nations Elite Showcase in Milwaukee.

Goaltender Jayde Turcotte turned aside all 19 shots she faced for the shutout, her second of the tournament.

Paige Sullivan opened the scoring with the game-winner at the 3:50 mark of the second period drawing assists from Samantha Strassburger and Kaity Howarth.

Samantha Isbell doubled the lead later in the middle frame as Howarth picked up her second helper.

Brownyn Bolduc picked up the final goal with less than a minute remaining in the period.

The Queens conclude the round robin portion of the tournament in an all-Canadian showdown with the Shaftesbury Prep Titans of Winnipeg on Saturday evening before Sunday's final day of action.
