THUNDER BAY -- The Border Cats game against the Rochester Honkers originally scheduled for Monday evening has been postponed due to rain.
The Border Cats announced the postponement Monday afternoon via the team’s Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The teams will play a split doubleheader on Tuesday at Port Arthur Stadium. The regular scheduled school-day game is set for 11:05 a.m., with the makeup game now penciled in for 7:05 p.m.
Both games will run the full nine innings.
Fans with tickets for Monday evening’s game can hold on to them and redeem tickets for any other 2014 regular season game, subject to seat availability.
Meanwhile, fans with Tuesday, June 2 tickets can use their tickets for the 11:05 a.m. game.
