According to NHL.com, Thunder Bay's Marc Staal has been cleared for light contact.

According to NHL.com, Thunder Bay's Marc Staal has been cleared for light contact.

The New York Rangers blue-liner has been sidelined all season suffering from post-concussion symptoms, the result of a hit last season by his older brother Eric Staal, captain of the Carolina Hurricanes.

He has yet to even practice this season.
